Boy Scouts

Boy Scouts is an outdoor-based skill and adventure program available to all boys who are 11 through 17 years old.  Boys meet weekly for most of the year.  Boys are organized by rank.  Scouts plan and run their own meetings and activities.  Scouts participate in outdoor programs such as hiking, climbing, canoeing, long-distance cycling and primitive and winter camping, plus council and high-adventure programs for older qualified scouts.  Adults provide a coaching and guidance role for leadership and skills.  The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship and personal fitness through outdoor and leadership opportunities.

Meeting times are:   7:00 - 8:00 Cub Scouts

                                   8:00 - 9:00  Boy Scouts

SCOUT SUNDAY

Sunday, February 8, 2015

On Sunday, February 8, we recognize Scouts and Scout leaders for their work, dedication and contributions to the scouting program.  During this time, Scouts and Scout Leaders renew their promise of "Duty to God".

Scouting values strengthen and remind youth of the importance of God in their family, community and faith.  Scouting encourages scouts to use and develop their God-given talents.

The following Cub Scouts from St. Bernadette Pack 225 have completed the requirements for the Parvuli Dei emblem.

William Gareau          Gannon Graf       Andrew Nicholas

In this program the scouts discovered the presence of Gopd in their daily lives as members of their families and parish.

All scouting families are invited to the Community Room after the 9:45AM Mass on February 8 for a social gathering.
