Welcome

The St. Bernadette School theme for the 2016-2017 school year is Grow and Make a Difference. This theme is rooted in faith, driven by a current school initiative, and designed to incorporate educational research. To illustrate the faith aspect of the theme, we chose Matthew 17:20. In Matthew, Jesus says if you have the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains. Last year, the school created a garden, and we look forward to developing the garden this school year. Finally, everyone at St. Bernadette School will be studying what it means to have a growth mindset. Those who have a growth mindset believe that just as a person’s muscles can grow, so can a person’s intelligence. This year, we will develop new strategies for learning and celebrate as we all Grow and Make a Difference!
