My name is Tiffany Huffman. I am the director and Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Saint Bernadette Elementary School. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. I have been married for 12 years and have 3 children. Two of them currently attend Saint Bernadette.
After college, I accepted a position teaching at the Preschool level, and have been doing it ever since. I am a believer that Preschool is an important and necessary part of Early Childhood Education. Children’s most formative years are birth through age 5. I am pleased to help build a Pre-school/ classroom environment that makes learning fun and exciting. My job is to give each child who enters our Program an opportunity to love school.
When taking the position at Saint Bernadette, I was excited to teach at a school where God was going to be part of my day. Now that I am here, I am proud of the philosophy and education that makes Saint Bernadette such a wonderful learning environment.
My name is Trish Janowitz. I am the preschool teacher for the 3’s and 4’s class. I have been married for 22 years,
to my husband, John. We have a 14 year old daughter, Drie, who is a freshman at Holy Name High School.
She is involved in theater and choir. We love to travel and our favorite destination is Disney World.
I have been teaching for 14 years in a variety of capacities. “I encourage children with self-help skills and to always
have a ‘can do’ perspective.” I enjoy Preschool and watching the growth throughout the school year.
