Damascus Retreats

Students will learn how they can come to know God through the exploration of the natural world, in a program that is permeated by the message of the Gospel. The retreat not only strengthens their faith but also helps them meet academic learning standards through hands-on lessons across Damascus’s 471 acres of forest, fields, and ponds.
-
The Damascus Leadership Retreat offers far more than classroom instruction—it immerses students in a dynamic environment where they are challenged to recognize their God-given gifts, strengthen areas of growth, and practice collaboration, communication, and compassion. Through cooperative initiatives, high-energy activities, prayer, and small-group discussions, students discover that true leadership is rooted in following Jesus and living with virtue. Our hope is that each student leaves empowered to become the leader God has created them to be, both within our school community and beyond.
-
The Damascus Confirmation Retreat offers students the chance to encounter Christ in a personal and transformative way. Through high-adventure activities, powerful worship, and intentional small-group discussions, students are invited into deeper discipleship and an authentic understanding of the beauty and joy of the Catholic faith. Damascus meets young people right where they are and helps them grow in confidence, virtue, and relationship with God.
