Angel Scholarship Fund

Support St. Bernadette School and Catholic Education through Ohio Tax Credits!

GREAT NEWS! The Angel Scholarship Fund donation deadline has been extended! The State of Ohio has adjusted the 2023 ASF deadline, which means ASF donors are now eligible to receive Ohio tax credit for the 2023 calendar year for contributions made between January 1, 2024 and April 15, 2024. Contributions received during this time frame may be eligible for the Ohio scholarship tax credit in either the 2023 or 2024 tax year.

Your participation in the Angel Scholarship Fund will help to strengthen St. Bernadette School’s future in countless ways! Through the Angel Scholarship Fund, families are invited to contribute funds that will be used to provide tuition assistance for St. Bernadette students. You will receive a 100% Ohio income tax credit, up to $750 ($1,500 if filing jointly). Contributing to this fund means you get to "spend" some of the state income taxes you'd pay anyway. This is a win-win-WIN for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, our diocese, and St. Bernadette School!

Your contribution to the Angel Scholarship Fund is hugely instrumental because it will:

1. Make catholic education more affordable and accessible

2. Allow you to choose what your tax dollars support

We strongly encourage members of our parish and school communities to participate in this program. Participation is not complicated - just follow these 3 easy steps!

1. Review your tax liability from last year (20211040 IT, line 8c) to help estimate the amount of your tax liability for this year against which the credit can be taken.

2. Click here to make a one-time or monthly gift to the Angel Scholarship Fund or download a contribution card to mail in your contribution.

3. Claim your tax credit on your 2023 Ohio tax form with the tax credit receipt that will be mailed to you from the Catholic Community Foundation.
